After we left the concentration camp we really needed to cheer ourselves up. We followed road signs with soccer balls on them hoping to find the old Olympic Stadium from the 1972 Olympics. We found the soccer stadium, but it took a little help from our friend TomTom to find the old Olympic park...

The Munich '72 Olympics were also the site of the Munich massacre where a group of radical Palestinians kidnapped and murdered 5 Israeli athletes and 6 Israeli coaches.....sad.
Time to go to Salzburg.
