High on a Hill Lived a Lonely Goat

We left Suzanne's in record timing and head for the hills and headed straight for the hills and more importantly to Neuschwanstein Castle:

Wikipedia:  Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat.

The palace was intended as a personal refuge for the reclusive king, but it was opened to the paying public immediately after his death in 1886. Since then over 60 million people have visited Neuschwanstein Castle.  More than 1.3 million people visit annually, with up to 6,000 per day in the summer. The palace has appeared prominently in several movies and was the inspiration for Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle and later, similar structures.

On the walk to the castle:

Then we headed to Munich:

At this outdoor restaurant in Munich we ordered some pretzels with our beer.  The waitress grabs the basket of bread at our neighbor's table and puts it on our table.  We eat a couple of pretzels out of the basket until the next person orders pretzels and the waitress comes back and takes our bread away.  This is how things work in Germany.

My new Paris scarf, Thanks Tibby!
